The mega churches via organized religion state that the soul is eternal. Their refuting of eternity is because they do not take into account the great transformation with the new body. This transformation happened and defined Jesus Christ’s resurrection. The purpose of the resurrection was for God to give the Christian family the means to travel into and live in eternity. We are eternity bound and as long as we still are able to speak in tongues via the manifestation of holy spirit, the gathering together has not yet happened.
