We Believe

Statement of Belief

1.     We believe in one God, the creator of the heavens and earth; in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, man’s redeemer, our Lord and Savior.

2.     We believe the scriptures are perfect, as originally given to “holy men of God as they were moved by holy spirit”, and are the final authority for believing.

3.     We believe that Adam was created in the image of God, spiritually; that because he sinned he brought upon himself immediate spiritual death which is separation from God.  That this resulted in physical death, which came later, being a consequence of sin.  That because of this, “death passed upon all men”; all men being born with a sinful nature.

4.     We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins, as a representative and complete substitute for mankind.  That those who confess Jesus as lord, and believe that God raised him from the dead according to the scriptures, are justified, made righteous, born-again by the Spirit of God, receiving eternal life as sons of God.

5.     We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ, his ascension, and seating at the right hand of God.

6.     We believe in the hope of Christ’s return for the church and our gathering together unto him.

7.     We believe in the resurrection of the just and the unjust.

8.     We believe in the receiving of the fullness of holy spirit, and the corresponding nine manifestations for all who are born-again of God’s spirit.

9.     We believe it is available to receive all that God promises in the Word, according to one’s individual believing of the Word.
