There is a huge difference between the future resurrections and our gathering together. One involves being raised from the dead. The other involved being raised from the dead and receiving new bodies, fashioned like unto Jesus Christ’s glorious body.

Throughout the New Testament, we can see references to the concept of rising up, raised, being raised, raised up, raised from, risen, risen again, awake, rose again, rose from, and rise. All of these usages are translated from the same Greek word – egeiro.
