There is a need to be aware of and to believe that the mind, our minds, can fabricate all kinds of false realities, things that didn’t actually happen. The mind can easily fill in the gaps where actual events don’t exist, where emotions are the only thing in the mental well. There is a need, actually a requirement to ‘challenge the narrative,’ when it comes to any ‘endless loop cycles.’ Have you ever looked down the railroad tracks and, in the distance seen them coming together? Challenging that narrative is old hat! Challenging the narrative is the way to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Challenging the narrative is good, allowing you to move to the ‘obedience of Christ’ side of life.
