In all countries in the world, core values of belief exist. At the center of many core values and systems of belief is a reverence for deceased ancestors. The accompanying belief also includes the belief that these ancestors are still watching over their descendants, providing protection against the happenings in life. Attached to this belief is a doctrine, that if you have done good things to an individual, then that individual, once deceased, will do good things for/to you. It is within these core values of belief that the soul becomes molded into ways of thinking, believing, fearing, acting, and living. The underlying goal of these core values is the attainment of peace. Jesus Christ preached peace between God and man. Understanding the difference between worldly core values, beliefs, and seeking for peace, and the values of peace introduced by our lord Jesus Christ, will greatly aid us as we bring godly peace to the world.
