Both the Old and New Testaments explain what a witness is according to God’s Word. Whenever God had His Word held forth, He made sure it was duly witnessed. This shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that God’s Word is true and that it came from God. He also wants us to be witnesses to His Word and to bear witness to our knowledge of His Word. We are witnesses of the accomplishments of our Lord Jesus Christ and the resurrection. As witnesses we will not allow the devil to stop us from moving God’s Word.
