The subject concerning our Heavenly Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and our family are written throughout God’s Word. Part of understanding this incredible subject lies in understanding the family that God designed. He designed the family, brought it into being, and then invited us into it. God let the world know: ‘This is my beloved Son, hear ye him.’ He did this so that all would have opportunity to hear and to believe that Jesus is God’s only begotten Son. Jesus brought in an incredible change of many things, including how God’s people are to behave. Eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth changed to ‘agape the hateful.’ Because we are children of our God in heaven, we are to walk in agape. Let the family begin!
