Throughout the New Testament, we can see references to the concept of rising up, raised, being raised, raised up, raised from, risen, risen again, awake, rose again, rose from, and rise. All of these usages are translated from the same Greek word – egeiro.

In dealing with the spiritual wrestling matches we incur with evil and its cronies, it is God’s spoken Word that will always chase darkness away.  Our holiness, blamelessness, and godly acceptance can’t be nullified as we employ the armour of Truth, Righteousness, and the gospel of peace.
