Throughout the New Testament, we can see references to the concept of rising up, raised, being raised, raised up, raised from, risen, risen again, awake, rose again, rose from, and rise. All of these usages are translated from the same Greek word – egeiro.

Right in the midst of evil, Jesus was able to count it all joy. So to can all Christians, no matter the temptations present. We have an incorruptible inheritance awaiting us. We shall be rescued. We are kept by the power of God. These and much more add up to counting it all joy!
