1 Cor 12:8 KJV Starting with verse eight, we will study the in depth accuracy of the word ‘another.’ ‘Another’ comes from one of two Greek words: allos or heteros. Allos means ‘another when two or more of the same kind are involved.’ Heteros means ‘another when only two are involved.’ In this case, the two are God and the believer. ‘Another’ can be translated ‘other’ depending on the context. Generally, in verses 8-10, the word allos is used.
